This is the other half of the story.
After burnout came the rebuilding.
And somewhere along the way, I started collecting moments that felt like life again.
Her Travel Memories is where I document the peaceful places, slow mornings, quiet streets, and soft little memories that now shape the life I’m building on the other side of burnout.
Hi, I’m Liz.
I burned out in 2025, at 27, after spending four years working in corporate audit at Deloitte.
But if you know me already, then you probably know that part of the story.
And if not — welcome to the other side of the blog.
The travel, photography, and soft-life side.
I actually started this blog while I was deep in burnout and convinced the solution was to quit everything, disappear into a van, travel the world, and document it all through my camera lens.
Yeah… turns out living van life is slightly more expensive than my deeply burned-out brain thought it would be. Who knew.
So no, that didn’t happen. At least not yet — I’m still holding onto the dream a little.
But Her Travel Memories was never really about running away.
It became about documenting my becoming journey instead. The peaceful places, slow mornings, quiet cafés, and little moments that slowly brought me back to myself.
You’ll still find travel tips, itineraries, and photography here.
Just always through a softer, more meaningful lens.
